It’s Thanksgiving, and while teachers may be secretly most thankful for a four-day weekend to catch up on work, life, and rest, we know there are a few more things teachers are super thankful they have in their lives.
Custodians
Like mystical beings of the night, they come after school and make sure the teacher’s classroom is clean as can be.
Administrators
They set the stage and help teachers do their job. If it wasn’t for them, teachers know all those essential duties needed to run a school would fall on them.
Other Teachers
Whether it’s help with coming up with an assignment, a shoulder to lean on, or someone to laugh with between classes, teaching would be an impossible job if there was no one around to share the experience.
Students
Let’s face it. They are everything to teachers. They can be challenging and push teachers limits, but they are also inspiring and joyful. What a teacher accomplishes is reflected in their students. They are why the teachers are even in this game.
Coffee
Probably the most important. How else are teachers going to deal with all the other blessings they’re thankful for?
