Elementary Math is targeted to upper-level elementary students (grades 3-5 and advanced 2nd graders). The course focuses on numbers and operations with whole numbers, decimals and fractions, working with data, geometry patterns and measurements, and focuses on problem-solving techniques.
Intermediate Math, also with an emphasis on problem-solving techniques, is targeted to Middle School students (grades 6-8). It builds on Elementary Math, adding algebraic techniques, graphing, functions, and 3-dimensional figures.
The High School Math courses provide teachers with the flexibility to choose their own curriculum path. One such path is the sequence of Integrated Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II & Trigonometry. An alternative pathway includes the courses Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Either High School Math Series can be followed by the advanced level Pre-Calculus course.
Grouping together grade levels allows teachers to easily review and reinforce lower-level material before introducing a higher-level treatment of the same or a related topic.
The Math Skills section allows students to practice a variety of computational skills. Questions are generated dynamically, so students never run out of practice opportunities! Teachers can also easily incorporate skill review questions into assignments.
