As December winds down and the holiday breaks are upon us, it’s easy to realize “Oh, no! We didn’t get our students’ teachers gifts!”
Never fear! We’ve compiled the ultimate holiday gift list for teachers.
Here are some things teachers NEED, plus they’re practical and easy to give.
- SUPPLIES
You can’t go wrong with traditional school and office supplies. Teachers are ever in need of post-its, markers, paper clips, and all the like. These items are always a practical and useful gift for all educators.
- COFFEE and TEA
Teachers run on coffee and tea! You may want to double check which a teacher prefers. Don’t worry, if you buy a delicious bag of grinds for a teacher who doesn’t drink java, they can always find a colleague who needs the caffeine.
- GIFT CARDS
You can’t go wrong with gift cards. Simple and useful. Teachers are busy, but they have all the same needs as you from stores like Home Depot, Best Buy, Amazon, Target, etc. A simple ‘thank you’ in the form of a gift card goes a long way.
- BOOKS
This may take a little more thought, but teachers spend all their energy educating their students and pushing literacy. So why not pay them back by choosing a new book for them to read? We’re teaching the students to be lifelong readers, put the theory into action!
Teachers, what kind of gifts do you appreciate from your students and their parents for the holidays?
