The Math Content Team has released new multiple choice, select all that apply, and fill-in questions that are aligned to the Common Core for the 5th grade. The questions in this content release refer to the domain “Number and Operations in Base Ten.” The following standards are included in the new content release:

- 5.NBT.3
Sample tasks that students are asked to complete:
- Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right, and one-tenth of what it represents in the place to its left.
- Read, write, and compare decimals to thousandths.
- Write numbers in expanded form.
- Multiply decimals by powers of 10.
