What are Source Writing Bundles?
Source writing bundles are groups of reading passages that are “bundled” together. All of the reading passages (or sources) in a bundle focus on a specific topic and are most often nonfiction. Bundles can contain 3-5 sources and provide students with information needed to complete a writing task. All source writing bundles include a writing task! Some of the bundles also include extra questions that lead-in to the writing task. These lead-in questions help students organize and outline facts from the reading passages (sources) that they’ll need to use when completing the writing task.
